Great position, ski-in and ski-out, excellent swimming pool, good bedrooms.
The Mondole is a large, modern 3 star hotel with a very good position, right
on the main village piste. This is a blue and is usually manageable by everyone
except novices. They have a 2min walk to an easier part of the blue run or a
7min walk right to the moving carpet lifts. Novices will probably be able to
ski from the hotel by the 2nd or 3rd day but good beginners and above can ski
to and from the hotel straight away! The village shops and bars are all close
by as well so the Hotel Mondole is very well placed.
You enter the hotel into a vast atrium with bar, reception and lounge. The wooden
floors and criss-crossing beams create a pleasant effect. There are soft furnishings,
open fireplace (decorative use only) and a few games. The superb swimming pool
on the lower ground floor is a very popular feature. Please bring a swimming
cap. The huge sun terrace offers good views over the piste and mountains.
Breakfast is a cold buffet with ham and cheese. Dinner features a large starter
buffet followed by three choices of first and second courses.
The bedrooms all have bath or shower, TV and telephone. There are a few family
apartments.
