Fantastic chalet with very high standards, outdoor hot tub, steam room, doorstep skiing and the New ‘Cine Snug’ cinema room!

The Chalet Namika has a fantastic location right on the slopes amongst a cluster of other chalets in the Altiport development. You jump on your skis right outside the door and ski 250m down to the gondola lift. At the end of the day you can ski right back to the door. In the evening the centre of Alpe d’Huez is 15-20mins walk but there are a couple of bars and a scattering of shops only 5-10mins away. Alternatively you can jump on the free ski bus which stops close to the chalet.

The facilities are excellent. The spacious sun terrace has a hot tub and fantastic views. It catches the sun virtually all day. Inside, the chalet is nicely decorated and has large, comfortable sofas, and an open fireplace in its spacious lounge with cable TV. Adjoining the lounge is the open plan dining area. Downstairs there is a steam room. For your convenience full WIFI access is provided.

The new ‘Cine Snug’ is a heated and sound proofed room with sofas, floor cushions and a 50” plasma TV with surround sound system. Also a new HD DVD player linked to sky TV. Perfect for DVD evenings.

All bedrooms are well furnished with full facilities.

Chalet Board
We employ excellent hosts and housekeepers who take care of your creature comforts and are very much a part of the social scene during your holiday. They know the skiing and will have lots of local information for you. For breakfast, there is a substantial buffet with ham, salami, cheese and cereals in addition to the usual bread and preserves. When you come back from skiing there's always cakes and coffee or tea, and at dinner, three excellent courses with free wine.

Cook's Night Off
On one day of the week, the host has a day off so you need to buy dinner. We always plan this as part of your après ski entertainment and will book a high value fun-filled evening in a local restaurant if you wish.
