Our simple and cosy chalet provides spectacular value. It's right in the
centre of Mayrhofen, close to the gondola but in a quiet position.
You won't find better value in Mayrhofen! Our cosy chalet offers excellent food,
the best possible location and a brilliant house party atmosphere. Everything
is on the doorstep. The gondola, village centre shops and fabulous swimming
complex are only 2mins away, but you leave the hustle and bustle behind as you
walk home over a quiet little meadow.
The Wegscheider is simple and basic, but clean, snug and friendly. Last year
we repainted the whole chalet giving it a nice fresh feel. Our staff serve excellent
meals with free wine in the lounge/dining room which is also the focal point
for evening games and socialising. The bedrooms have washbasin and balcony,
and share WC's and showers on each floor. Half of the rooms overlook the mountains.
Full accommodation: 6 Austrian twins, 2 triples, 4 WC's,

Chalet Board
We employ excellent hosts and housekeepers who take care of your creature comforts
and are very much a part of the social scene during your holiday. They know
the skiing and will have lots of local information for you. For breakfast, there
is a substantial buffet with ham, salami, cheese and cereals in addition to
the usual bread and preserves. When you come back from skiing there's always
cakes and coffee or tea, and at dinner, three excellent courses with free wine.
Cook's Night Off
On one day of the week, the host has a day off so you need to buy dinner. We
always plan this as part of your après ski entertainment and will book
a high value fun-filled evening in a local restaurant if you wish.
