When you think about it, skiing is one of the few sports that can be enjoyed by three generations together; parents, children and even grandparents! Learning to ski with your kids is a fantastic and rewarding experience you¹ll never forget and neither will they. You are giving them a lifelong passion that they will be able to enjoy with their own families for years in the future. Choosing the right resort is important. Many of our resorts are good for families and we¹ll be happy to help you choose which is right for you.

Young Children
We recommend that parents of very young children take them along to a local dry ski slope for a couple of lessons before they travel. It proves to be a great advantage because they get used to the unusual equipment and feeling of being on skis and they progress much faster in ski school. Crèches, Kindergartens and Children¹s Lessons We can elaborate on the brief information on the resort pages on request. In France and Austria you can leave your children all day at the crèche with nannies who will keep them entertained. There are often special ski school lessons for toddlers (Ski Kindergarten). Many French crèches require proof of inoculations for children under 4 years.

Infants Under 2
Infants under 2 years old on the return date of travel pay £39 on short-haul charter flights, £59 on all other flights. The infant must sit on a parent¹s lap and share a plane and coach seat. Hotels will charge for cots, which can be pre-booked. They may also make a small charge for meals. Please ask for details. Please note: infants do not count towards your free place ratio.

Child Discounts
We are delighted to offer great value child prices and huge savings which are valid for children aged between 2-11 years inclusive when sharing a room with two or more full fare paying adults at all our ClubHotels and Chalets. These special child prices apply to selected departure dates, flights and accommodation and are subject to availability on a first come, first served basis.

Once sold out, the adult price will apply with applicable reductions for 3 and 4 room share and lift passes. This policy will also apply for subsequent children and all other hotels. Important Information
Child Prices apply to the first child only sharing a room with two or more full paying passengers. Subsequent children pay the adult price with reductions for 3-4 room-share and lift passes. The child/s ages on the date of return travel must not exceed 11 years, if this does, the child will no longer qualify for reduced prices and the full adult price will be applied plus any additional administration fees that may apply. All special child prices include the full package, and no further reductions will apply such as child lift pass reductions and multi-bedded room reductions. Children travelling on special prices do not count towards the occupancy of a room/chalet or towards the calculation of free places. However, we will allow a maximum of 2 discounted children per week in all selected chalets. Infants, aged less than two years on the date of return travel, pay £39 on all short haul charter flights. They are not allocated a seat on the aircraft or coach transfer and do not qualify for any luggage allowance. If you require a seat for an infant, please enquire for a quotation and availability. A deposit payment of £120 is payable for all children travelling over two years of age. Only one special child price is available per booking.
